I have always been told to watch out for the mist,
as it curls around, holds you tight in it's fist.

It's a portal for those who walk into the night,
the dead, don't you know, ready to fright.

I haven't seen them myself,
don't know if they're vapor or whole,

but I'm not very willing, not willing to go,
to wander the areas of vapors in mist,

No thank you I say, this I will miss.
Now mist isn't the only thing you have to fear,
there's a lot more blood thirsties running out there.

Are you willing to bump into one in the dark,
while fancily checking the moon in the park?

Do you think you might have the guts, as they say,
to see what might bump into you - get in your way?

I've heard the stories about vampires and the like,
the demons and ghouls that walk dead in the night.

Have you ever thought about how when driving your car,
deep in the night, no moon and no stars.
Just you and the darkness and those empty back seats,
do you look in the mirror to see who you might meet?

When you turn off your lights and crawl into your bed,
do you ever wonder what thing might be lying undead -

under the the place that you disturbingly sleep,
to crawl out and touch you on your hands or your feet?

Can you look in the mirror when you get up in the night,
to use the bathroom without using the light?

When you're sitting alone in your house late at night,
Do you wonder who's out there just waiting to bite?

I have often thought of all of these things,
and especially now when it's their time.......Halloween!

Oh! Halloween, Halloween!
(Sing to the tune of "Jingle-Bells")
Dashing through the night,
with his cape flowing all around,

all the hill's he'll go,
to terrorize the town!

Blood thirsty is her tune,
and she has her mineons,

to do some evil work,
for her there is no end.

Ohhhhhhhhhh.....Halloween, Halloween,
the night of dead and black,

Oh what fun it is to feed,
upon your tasty neck!

Oh! Halloween, Halloween,
the best time of the year,

So I advise, to be wise,
or they'll feed upon your fear!

Please Mr. Reaper,
Don't take me away,
to the land of the dead,
forever to stay.

A spell, a spell, she'll cast on you,
So don't be foolish, it's nothing new,
Best to be good, kind and true,
Or she'll turn you into tasty stew!

We never had a pumpkin
that looked so wicked and nasty,
He looks as if he thinks we,
are something very tasty.

Wine or blood, your host did ask,
to the drop you must make it last,
if you spill it, your time is up,
no used crying over the spilled cup.

If I see this in the night,
I'm afraid I might just die of fright.

If you see this calling you,
you know what I would surly do?
Run as fast as your legs will flow,
Don't stop for nothing, just go, go, GO!

You can't see them, but they see you,
And when you turn around to view,
they close their eyes and when you turn,
they look at you again for sure.
