A traditional bedtime story.....

It was Halloween night, and all through the haunted house,
all the creatures were stirring, even the bats and a mouse.
The pumpkins were glowing outside with the chill,
and the goblins preparing to deliver a thrill.
The children were ready to trick or treat,
while the witches were making something nasty to eat.
The Halloween vampires and mummies were readying themselves,
for Halloween night not a night for the elves.
The guy that’s in charge, it’s the old Devil’s job,
and he’s busy preparing his Halloween mob.
Now Zombies! and Demons! Spiders and Bat! Skeletons!
Werewolves! Ghosts and Black Cats!
The Reaper’s in charge to show you the way,
So dash away my Halloween pretties...YES...DASH AWAY!
The horror and scaring we have much to do,
don’t miss the old cobwebs, and remember the goo!
All little kiddies are out for their special delights,
and Halloween candy So give them a fright.
The devil did laugh as his troops made their way,
to begin this awaited long pooprat Halloween day.
So I say with a shudder, and I beg you to see,
whoever’s behind you or behind those dark trees.
But above everything I wish you this scream,
GET A LOT OF GOOD CANDY!

AND HAVE A GREAT HALLOWEEN!!!
