1 package breakfast sausage - brown
& serve kind-- sliced 1/8 thick
1 can cream of chicken
soup 98% fat free -- undiluted
1 cup skim milk
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup fat-free sour cream
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
After slicing the sausages, heat till cooked in a microwave, or in a skillet. Drain and pat dry all the fat very well. In a medium pot, combine the rest of the ingredients, and blend till smooth. Add the sausages and heat through. Mix the cornstarch and water for a paste, and use this to thicken the gravy. Pour over warm biscuits or French bread.
Notes : Your family will rave over this one...you will never have leftovers. This is also an excellent accompaniment with the Breakfast Lasagna. This is also a bit high in fat, but much, much lower than the full fat version.
