1/2 cup dry long grain rice - cook
half-way
1/4 cup water
1/3 cup onion --
chopped
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 pound
ground turkey
30 ounces tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire
sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
In a bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients; add the turkey and mix well.
Shape into 1-1/2" balls. Bake in a 375° oven for about 30 minutes. Combine the
tomato sauce, water, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Place the meatballs back
in the baking dish, and pour the sauce over them. Cover and bake at 325° for an
additional 30 minutes.
Notes : Terribly good. Serve over additional
rice if desired.
