Serving Size:  6

      21  ounces  London broil lean only -- very lean

     Marinade  

2  tablespoons  crushed garlic
   1  teaspoon  salt
     1/4  cup  dry red wine
     1/4  cup  balsamic vinegar
   1  tablespoon  soy sauce
   1  tablespoon  brown sugar


  Make a paste with the crushed garlic and salt.  Mix with the rest of the marinade ingredients.  Place in a large sealable plastic bag and add the London broil.  Press out excess air and seal.  Marinate steak for 4-24 hours, turning occasionally. Bring the steak to room temperature before grilling (about 1 hour).  Prepare the grill and spray the rack with a nonstick spray.  Grill the steak over hot coals about 5-6 inches above the heat for 7-9 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Cut steak at an angle, and serve.  

 

Serving Ideas : Serve with potatoes anyone? And of course a veggie!

Notes :   Beef.  More fat.  Watch the rest of you day by eating lower fat foods. Again though, what a dish!
