     4   cups   mixed salad greens -- torn
   2    cups  macaroni -- cooked as directed

   2   cups  frozen peas -- thawed
   1  medium   onion -- chopped
     3/4  pound  ham - extra lean slices  -- sliced into squares
     1/3  cup   lowfat Swiss cheese -- shredded
     1/3  cup   lowfat cheddar cheese -- shredded

 Dressing   

1  cup  fat-free mayonnaise
     1/2  cup   fat-free sour cream  
  2  teaspoons  Dijon mustard

     1/2  teaspoon   cardamom -- (or dried basil)
     1/2  teaspoon  salt
     1/8  teaspoon  black pepper
   1   package artificial sweetener


  In a 3 1/2-qt bowl, layer the greens, macaroni, peas, onion, ham and cheeses.  In a small bowl combine the dressing ingredients; spread over the salad.  Cover and chill for at least 4 hours.


  Serving Ideas : Serve as side dish, or all alone.

Notes :   A great salad to take to potluck barbecues.   I  loved this one so much, I ate it all myself.
