   3   quarts    cucumbers -- sliced fine
   2   pounds   onions -- sliced
     1/3  cup    salt

   1   teaspoon   celery salt
   2   cups    cider vinegar
   2    cups   sugar



Boil 2 cups vinegar, salt, sugar and celery salt.  Place the cucumbers and onions in quart jars.  Pour the HOT liquid mixture into the jars.  Mix well.  Cover and use in 2-3 days.  Can be kept chilled for up to several weeks.  


Serving Ideas : Serve as a side dish with any meal...great for picnics!


Notes : This is a very old recipe made by my mother, and absolutely one of my favorites!  So, so easy to make, and so, so good!
